I am the proud owner of Messy Thoughts Counseling, a space dedicated to helping others navigate their lives. I completed my Master’s Degree at Wayne State University, and I have been a licensed counselor since 2021. I have a background as a school counselor, having worked in both K-12 public, private, and virtual educational settings.

When a child is hurting, it affects the whole family. That’s why my approach begins with meeting your child exactly where they are. I take time to understand their world, their strengths, and their worries, and together we build goals that feel meaningful to them. Every child’s journey is unique, and my role is to guide them toward emotional confidence, healthier coping skills, and a stronger sense of self.

In our sessions, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and, when helpful, Accelerated Resolution Therapy—an effective tool for gently transforming painful emotions into more hopeful ones. Through warmth, curiosity, and steady support, I help children process what they’ve experienced and learn new ways to navigate their thoughts and feelings.

I hope we can help your child grow into a confident, understood, and resilient version of themselves. I look forward to supporting your family on this journey.
